Cutler Bay

The Cutler Bay region enjoys a small town flavor unrivaled by most other areas of Miami-Dade County. The east is bordered by beautiful Biscayne Bay,which should rightfully be called the Upper Keys. A newly constructed marina at Black Point is literally just minutes away. If you don't own a boat, you can rent a canoe, pack a picnic lunch while you watch for manatees, or stop at the Pirates Den for a drink and a conch fritter.

In Cutler Bay, whether you're filing for homestead exemption, renewing a passport, or changing your license tag, South Dade Government Center is only minutes away.  The Government Center is just across from the Southland Mall where shopping is a breeze and only five minutes or less from anywhere in Cutler Bay. Just a short drive to the north (five minutes or so) and you'll be at the Falls or another couple of minutes and you're at the Dadeland Mall for a well rounded shopping spree. No matter how you slice it, Cutler Bay is a great place to raise a family, nurture a career, plan a business, or simply enjoy the place we call home. Remember, we're less than an hour from downtown, a short hop to the Grove, and no more than an hour from Key Largo or Flamingo.

On January 11, 2005 the 40,000+ citizens of Cutler Bay voted for the incorporation of its own cityhood.
