The Redland District was settled in the early 1900's. Named for the color of its soil, by 1912 it was the home of several churches, a school, a small store and the Pioneer Guild Hall. The Redland Fruit and Spice Park houses a large variety of exotic fruit bearing trees and is one of the oldest and most unique parks in the county system. Only minutes from busy downtown Miami, the Historic Redland Area offers a slower pace of country style living that some of us require. |
